The Secret to writing a winning resume:
Use the exact keywords from the actual job description. This makes it easier for your resume to be searchable for potential employers.
Pay attention to the “optional” requirements because chances are that you are competing with other applicants on “optional requirements,” since 80% of them have already met the mandatory requirements.
Find a way to link to your experience to the optional requirements and build on that!
Every “no” on resume or during interview is a chance to get your disqualified for the job.
Think about a way to never say “no” and to prove to them that you can do the job.
“Quick learner” doesn’t prove your case. Don’t waste time on those cliché statements. You have to link it back in some way to your experience!
Don’t just broadcast your resume. Tailor your resume to the company and the specific position that really interests you. You will increase your chances of getting hired!
